Sardine
Description
Indian Oil Sardines form schools in coastal waters and are strongly migratory. It is one of the two most important commercial fishes in India (along with Mackerel). It is one of the more regionally limited species of Sardinella and can be found in the northern regions of the Indian Ocean. Spawning peaks in August‐September.
