Japanese Threadfin
Description
These species are abundant in Indian coastal waters, and found on mud or sand bottoms, usually in schools. It has a wide distribution from the Red Sea and eastern shores of Africa to the Philippines and Japan. Japanese Threadfin is ideal for oriental recipes ‐ steamed, dried‐salted, dry‐smoked, or made into fish balls.
