Ribbon Fish

These pelagic fishes have distinct slim, ribbonlike appearance, and have many applications in Chinese cuisine. This common to abundant species is found in tropical and temperate oceans throughout the world and though not bottom feeders, they typically live in deep waters. Excellent taste when fried or grilled.
