Horse Mackerel
Description
Horse Mackerel is a vague term for a range of species of fish throughout the English-speaking world. It is commonly applied to pelagic fishes, especially of the Carangidae (jack mackerels and scads) family. The Horse Mackerel is distributed throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific region and some chefs recommend frying or steaming the fish, although grilling is also acceptable.
