Description
Idli is a type of savory rice cake, originating from the Indian subcontinent, popular as breakfast in Southern India. The cakes are made by steaming a batter consisting of fermented black lentils and rice.
Dosa is a thin pancake and is prepared on a hot griddle and served with chutney and sambar.
